Essential Safety Inspection

  • For our Essential Safety package, we focus on making sure that an RV can be driven or towed safely as is, and that there are no hazards inside the living area
  • A few examples of safety checks that we perform: air pressure test and tread examination for all tires, inspection of the electrical systems, hot skin check, gas leak detection, and trailer light testing
  • We’ll also make sure that safety devices are present, accounted for, and in working order—including fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors
  • A Fluid Analysis is not included but can be added as an option

Rv Inspection Tools

Several non-invasive tools will be used during the RV inspection as necessary, including a multimeter, manometer, GFCI circuit tester, polarity tester, USB outlet tester, amp meter, trailer light tester, and equipment for conducting fluid analysis.

New Owner Orientation

Before you take to the road in your new RV, we strongly recommend scheduling a New Owner Orientation. We’ll meet with you to walk you through all of the features included with your RV, showing you how different components work and where controls are located. By the time we’re finished, you’ll know exactly how your RV operates, from readying the vehicle for towing to dumping the holding tanks.

RV Research Consultations

If you’re in the market for an RV, but you’re not 100% decided on what direction you’d like to go in, we can set up a consultation to help. Together we’ll have a thorough discussion about what you’re looking for in an RV and what your budget is—giving us the insights we need to make recommendations that will be a good fit for your family.

Fluids being checked while performing rv inspection services

Fluid Analysis

For a fluid analysis, we’ll be sampling and testing several different fluids that are critical to your RV’s mechanical well-being. This includes the motor oil, engine coolant, transmission fluid, and the lubricants inside the generator. By analyzing each fluid, we can determine if there are contaminants or other abnormalities present indicating a potential issue that could shorten the lifespan of your RV’s mechanical system if left unaddressed. We’ll also be able to see if the fluid levels are reduced due to excessive breakdown or leakage. Click here for sample.

Winterization / De-Winterization

When the cold weather hits, it’s important to do routine maintenance to your RV to avoid repair issues that can be caused by freezing temperatures. We’re happy to assist with winterizing your RV, a process that includes adding antifreeze to the water system, flushing the water heater and holding tanks, and removing filters as necessary before the antifreeze is added. We can also perform de-winterization, which includes sanitizing the water system.

$50 from every inspection goes to one of the following veteran support organizations: Wounded Warrior, or Homes for Troops.
