Develop a departure checklist to ensure you don’t forget any essential items or tasks before hitting the road. This can include items like checking tire pressure, securing loose items, locking the hitch, check the breakaway cable and safety chains. We use the notes feature on our iPhones and share it so both my wife and I can check things off the list as we go. She has her parts and i have my parts of the list. This is a small sample of our check list.
